In the 5 times I fished with this reel, I caught some pretty good fish, including two 3 pound smallmouth. It handles strong fish very well and its great for any distance of casting, whether youre casting as far as you can, or just flipping under some brush. Again the reel was only used 5 times and looks brand new, not a single scratch on it.
